Founded in 1997, İstanbul Patent (IPM) has spent nearly three decades helping clients protect, manage and enforce their intellectual property rights. Today, IPM is one of Türkiye's leading and most established IP firms, bringing together attorneys-at-law, trademark attorneys and patent attorneys under one roof.
We handle the filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, patents and designs before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and we advise and represent clients in IP disputes.
Trademarks
Most of our trademark attorneys are qualified lawyers. This allows us to support clients seamlessly at every stage, from clearance and registration through to opposition proceedings and litigation.
Patents
Our patent department, made up of Turkish and European Patent Attorneys and representatives before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), works across all fields of technology. Our services cover patent drafting and prosecution, portfolio management, infringement and freedom-to-operate analyses, validity assessments and patent monitoring.
