Experience

Merve Tunçer Arslan has the expertise and experience more than 10 years in intellectual property law as a registered lawyer at Istanbul Bar Association and trademark attorney at Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. 

Upon obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Law, Merve participated law education programs in the United Kingdom. She has completed her attorney internship at a large-scale corporation’s legal department, and she has worked at a law firm in Madrid-Spain through Leonardo Da Vinci Exchange Program. During this period, she specialized on contracts law, trademark law, advertising law and she participated several lawsuits regarding multinational trademark disputes.

Merve joined Istanbul Patent A.Ş. team in 2012 where she has been providing legal consultancy on protection of intellectual property rights and following the proceedings related to trademark and design rights before Turkish Patent and Trademark Office on behalf of foreign clients.
