Seda UNAL AKSOY has a BSc degree both in “Chemical Engineering” and “Metallurgy and Material Science Engineering”.

Having about 15 years of IP experience and being a Turkish Patent Attorney, she has been handling almost full range of patent matters up to now.

She has worked as a patent attorney in one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Turkey for 5 years and has experienced in drafting patent applications, conducting patent searches and providing patent support for all projects in the company portfolio.

Seda UNAL AKSOY, who works as a patent attorney at Istanbul Patent since 2013, has an extensive IP experience especially in pharmaceutical sector. Based on her background, Seda UNAL AKSOY also focuses on the fields of chemistry and materials science related topics. She handles IP matters in particular drafting patent applications, filing strategy, prosecution, opposition as well as patentability searches and freedom to operate (FTO) searches.

Seda UNAL AKSOY has successfully passed all paper of the European Qualification Examination (EQE) in 2024, thereby entitled as a European Patent Attorney.
